Meet Dr. Tylen Haderlie

Dr. Haderlie graduated in 2016 with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Missouri Kansas City School of Dentistry. Following graduation, he commissioned as a Captain in the United States Army and completed a one-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry program. Dr. Haderlie has served as an Army dentist for five years, serving Colorado, New York, and Ft. Myer, VA.  After leaving active duty, he continued to serve in the U.S. Army Reserves for an additional three years.  During that time, Dr. Haderlie transitioned into private practice and served the Fredericksburg, VA area.  After visiting family in Knoxville, Dr. Haderlie and his family fell in love with the Smoky Mountains, the wonderful people of Tennessee, and the Vols.  They decided to move here in June of 2024 and have loved it ever since.

Dr. Haderlie always maintains a focus on treating his patients with compassion and skill. His post-graduate education allows him to use the latest in modern dental treatment techniques to provide the best care possible for his patients. Most recently, his focus has been in the areas of endodontics (root canals), CAD/CAM treatments including digital crowns and bridges, clear aligner therapy, and improved infection control techniques. His Army career has allowed him to work closely with and be mentored by many dental specialists, which has expanded his skills and knowledge.

Dr. Haderlie married his high school sweetheart, Erin, and they have three beautiful daughters: Emily, Evangeline, and Elaina. They all love being outdoors and discovering new places together. Their Australian Shepard, Kip, often tags along on their adventures. Dr. Haderlie’s hobbies include playing golf, spending time outdoors, and cooking. He is also active in his local church congregation and finds peace and joy in living a spiritually focused life.
